Well, we finally got up the guts to PAINT!!!! Luckily our kind "landlords" let us paint some of the basement. We decided to paint our front room and a wall in our hallway as an accent wall. We didn't really know what we were doing at first, but after help from friends and family, numerous trips to Home Depot, and lots of paint samples on the wall we found what we wanted. We did some preparation the night before and then spent our whole day off from work and painted! We have come to really love taping! NOT! The taping took 5x as much time as it did to actually paint. It ended up pretty good for our first time, just a couple little drips. We figure by the next time we paint, we will be pros!!! Overall, we LOVE the colors we picked and love how it much it adds to our little home!
