This past weekend, I had my last baby shower with Mike's side of the family. I am in debt to my sister in law, Jen and my Mother in law for throwing me such a fabulous shower! It was so much fun and Jr. and I got spoiled once again. This time though, our "Dad to be" got a little present especially for him!
Let me explain..... Last weekend, I went to a baby shower of a close friend of Jen's with Jen and my mother in law. At the shower, she got this Diaper Changing Kit and we fell in love with it! I was thrilled when I saw that Jen got one for me...... well actually for Mike! There is a poem on top and I must share it to make the experience complete!
Congratulations New Daddy!
It's your time to shine.
Strap on your tool belt....
It's diaper changing time!
Use the clothespin on your nose
And you won't smell a thing.
Pull on the rubber gloves
And goggles so your eyes won't sting.
Get the diaper and wipes ready.
Now, gently remove the dirty one.
Use the tongs to dispose of it,
And the wipes to clean that little bum.
Don't forget the baby powder sprinkle,
To keep him dry and smelling sweet.
Watch out for an unexpected tinkle.
Quickly get the diaper taped on neat.
Finally, the job is done!
Now really, wasn't that fun?
And your reward is the best--
A great big baby hug and kiss.
