Our little family...

Wow! The month of May has flown by! Obviously I have not figured out how to find time to sit down and post a few pictures, but hopefully someday I will! Mike, Jack, and I are doing well and it seems like our life is constantly on the run. 

Mike is still working at the University ER and started his Summer semester at the U. We have decided that we need to tackle school, hence the Summer semester. He is SWAMPED this semester. He is taking a Studio Architecture class that requires 2 big projects each week. Our front room has turned into his work space! He has really come up with some neat models and drawings. He is also taking an accelerated Trig class. It only lasts about a month and so he has loads of homework and a test each week! In between work and school, he still makes time to spend time with and help Jack and I and get a little sleep on the side. The amazing thing about my husband is that I never hear him complain or get stressed out etc. He just gets to work and does what needs to be done! I am so proud of him and grateful for everything he is doing for our little family! 

I am trying my best as a new Mom. I often feel like I am trying to balance a mile high stack of plates and they keep falling! No, I am doing much better, but still adjusting! My life consists of taking care of my daring little boy, laundry, staying up too late trying to get things done and then wanting to sleep in all morning, and teaching piano in between. Everything else is suffering from lack of attention!!!! Haha! No really, I am doing pretty good! Yes my house is not as clean as I would like and I often don't get time to do my hair, but I am happy and enjoying being a Mom! 

Jack is growing SO much! We took him to the doctor a couple of weeks ago because we think he might have reflux.... anyway, he weighed 10 lbs 6 oz and grew to 22 inches!! He is filling out and finally starting to fit into his clothes! I even had to buy some 3-6 months onesies because he is too long for his 0-3's! He is really starting to interact with us and we love his cute smiles! He LOVES his baths each night and has started kicking like crazy. Two Sunday's ago, he went to church for the first time! He was so cute in his Sunday clothes, even if they were a little bit big. He is so much fun and continues to amaze us!
