Our Not So Little Jack

Yes, it has been FOREVER since my last post.... as usual! I finally got a minute to sit down and post while Jack is napping. I should be cleaning my house, folding laundry, etc, etc, but oh well!

I cannot believe my "little" boy is now 3 months old! At his 2 month check up, he was in the 75th percent for his weight 12 lbs and 14 oz) and he was off the chart for his height (25 inches)! Everyone comments on how long he is! I can't wait to see what his 4 month check up results are!
We moved him into his crib Tuesday night and he did pretty well. He usually sleeps through the night, but lately he has been waking up at 5 AM
for a feeding, but that is not that bad. I think things have been so crazy around here that his routine has been shot!
Last weekend, Jack and I went down to Vegas with my parents, little brother, and sister-in-law and her kids. My Mom's sister lives down there a
nd she got re-married and my cousins Melissa and Brandon both returned home from their missions! So, it was an exciting weekend, but Jack and I both missed Mike. He had to work, but was kind enough to let us go and be with family.

Jack is such a sweet little guy! Yes, he has his little melt downs here and there when he gets tired, but otherwise he is so happy! His growing personality and smiles melt me! He is getting more and more curious and is starting to grab everything in his reach!

Mike finished his Summer math class at the end of June and did such a good job! He is still in his Studio Architecture class and still really likes it! I am always amazed with what he comes up with! I could only find this picture of one of his models. The rest must be on his computer! This was one of the first few he made. He is now making full on house models with stairs a
nd windows! It is crazy!
There is not much to update about myself. Just trying to be a good Mom and Wife. I have to give kudos to all of the Moms out there who work! I don't know how they do it! I work two mornings a week teaching piano and that is ENOUGH for me! Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but it is hard leaving my little guy! I guess I need to be grateful that I have a way to help bring in a little extra $$$ while Mike is working to get done with school.

What a cutie pie! I can't believe Jack is so big already. You make a beautiful mother, Alyse!
