So, I have to brag a little. We had such a special tour experience that hopefully you don't mind me sharing. As some of you might know, Mike's Uncle, Elder Rasband, is in the Presidency of the Seventy. Before this calling, he was involved with planning this temple and and the opportunity to present the plans for this temple to President Hinckley. On the 4th, he gave his whole family a private tour of the temple, which just happened to be the first tour to ever go through the temple! We were so excited when we heard the news! He shared many special experiences that he had while planning this temple. He and his committee were the ones to suggest to President Hinckley the plan to make the sealing rooms larger to accommodate large families. They were also behind the planning that made it possible to build the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and the Draper Temple. I guess originally it was only planned to build the Draper Temple, but they figured out that if they build the Draper Temple as only a medium sized temple, they would be able to build both temples for the same price as they originally planned for only one temple. Anyway, those were some of the things that I found interesting. Hopefully I have my info exact. As I said before, it was such a neat experience. The temple is beyond beautiful and I cannot wait for it to be dedicated. If you do not have plans as of now to go see it, please do so. You will not regret the choice.
I almost forgot to share the most exciting part of our tour experience! We decided to dress Jack in his little suit to see the temple in. I don't mean to get too informative, but some of you may know that my son has a bit of a problem keeping his "business" in his diapers. I have cleaned up WAY too many blow outs! Luckily he has been much, much better the past month or so and I thought we were over that phase. We drive to the temple, park, get Jack out of the car and I feel something wet down one of his legs! NOOOOOO!!!! Of course, why not blow out on the way to the temple? PERFECT! I run inside the chapel and straight to the bathroom. The whole inside of his right leg suit pants is covered in you know what and of course I don't have a spare pair of pants in the diaper bag! Nanny Swenson saved the day and helped scrub and wash the pants in the sink. We were hoping for a hand dryer to dry them, but no luck. So for the first half of the tour, my son had no pants! I should have taken a picture!!! We all took turns working the pants with our hands to dry them and he finally got his pants back! Never a dull moment......

Alyse that sounds really cool (except the poop parts). But I have to ask, what is going on in the first temple picture? Did you take it? Why does it have gold blurs on it?
