Paiute Trail

During Fall Break this year, we went with some of my family on the Paiute Trail. Two of my brothers own Rangers and were nice enough to borrow another one for us to drive. My parents and my younger brother drove four wheelers. We headed down to Fillmore and loaded everything into our off road vehicles and took off. The Fall colors were beautiful and we had a BLAST!!! We drove for probably 4 plus hours up over the mountain and down into Richfield, where we spent the night.

Mike loved being in the driver's seat!

At one point, the trail was blocked and the Rangers could not get through. So, we had to find another way. My brothers decided to try out the rocky river! After my two brothers went, it was our turn and my brothers MADE Mike drive his own Ranger through. It was a little hair raising for everyone, but everyone made it across safely and the journey continued! Nothing slows us down! Mike earned some "Roper" blood that day! I know the picture does not do the situation justice, oh well!

We finally reached our hotel and we were more than ready for a shower!!!
We were all covered in dust!

Our caravan didn't go un-noticed in Richfield!! It was quite a site!

The whole gang..... except Grandma who took the picture.

Heading back to Fillmore
What an adventure we had! It was a little long at times and cold and dusty.... but who cares! It was great!
