Sewing Projects

I have a Bazillion other things that I should be posting, but I decided that since I only have a few minutes, I would share some of the projects I have been working on lately.

I love to sew, but I am not the best at it. Sure, I can sew a straight line, quilts, things like this.
Someday, I want to learn enough to be able to make Halloween costumes, dresses for a little girl someday and such. We will see if I ever get that good.

My sister-in-law was given a couple of these "lovies" when her twins were born.
So we decided to make some of our own. I think it turned out super cute and it was really easy.

Growing up, I always used a trick or treat bag that my sister had made me. I was always really proud of it and so I decided I wanted to try and make one for Jack. My Mother-in-law is an amazing seamstress and so she helped me whip out this little goodie! It is a little big for Jack, but I figure he can grow to fit it over the years!

A Few weeks before Halloween, my Mom put together a girl's night. She cooked us a fabulous meal
and bought us all fabric to make these Fall table toppers. They were really easy and fun to make. Thanks Mom!

Now for my favorite of all....... I am making a Christmas Quilt!!!
My Mother-in-law and sister-in-law had quilt kits already and wanted to have a sewing night.
So........ I had to get a kit as well and these fabrics caught my eye! I decided to try a more difficult pattern
than just blocks. We will see how it turns out. Here are a few of the blocks so far.

This is what I am putting on the back and binding it with! I love the colors!!!

I will share more pics when it is done! :)

PS.... I obviously had layout issues with this post..... Sorry, it is late.

You're a talented woman Alyse! I tried to make a taggie blanket like that but w/ cellophane inside so it made a noise. It didn't take long before it fell apart. My sewing skills are not very impressive.
