Lake Powell

My brother and his wife were nice enough to invite us to Lake Powell for a week. Since it is not quite nice enough weather for the prime Lake Powell experience, no one in Chelsea's family was using it and so we went down for some different fun. Sadly, we could not come until the end of the week because of Mike's schooling.

We headed down Thursday after Mike finished a big test. We stayed in a VERY nice house boat, but sadly we missed the nice weather. Our family who went at the beginning of the week had really nice weather. They fished, played games, took boat rides, and some people even got in the 50 degree water...... TOO COLD FOR ME! We stayed in the houseboat all day Friday because the wind was really bad. We still had fun playing games and just getting away! Saturday, we cleaned up the boat, packed up, and took a last minute ride in the boat. It was a quick trip, but still fun! Thanks again Greg and Chels!

My younger brother, Brett, was crazy enough to get in the water, without the dry suit!!! A few other people got in, but did use the dry suit! He surfed and was pretty proud of himself as you can see in the picture! To top things off, when he got back in the boat, he decided to jump back in the boat.... NAKED!!!! Such is my family..... :)
