Oh Lake Powell! Who doesn't LOVE Lake Powell? This year, two of my older brothers bought into a house boat and were kind enough to invite the family to join in. We were a little curious what the weather would be like at the end of September, but it ended up being PERFECT!!!

Our Captain driving the boat out. Don't worry, we plan to get him a captain's hat for next year!

I love this picture! Blake and Jack enjoying the ride while we find a spot for the boat.
We stopped the house boat and decided to test the water. Everyone started jumping off of the top deck, even the little kids!!! It took me some time and thought, but I finally did it!
The "nervous-Alyse" look!
(Notice that I am holding onto anything I can for dear life! I don't love heights.)
I finally just went for it, but there was nothing pretty about it!
No problem for Mike! He dove right in again and again.
Fishing was a daily activity. The guys usually went early in the morning or we would go out before dusk. It was always fun to see who would snag one.
The kids loved playing on the beach. They would be out there for hours doing who knows what.
Jack found this treasure and it seems like he had some serious plans with it.

This was hilarious! I know no one will think it was that funny unless you were there, but oh well. Olivia got out behind the boat on the kid ski. Next thing we know she starts doing tricks, like one handed or standing on one leg.
So, then Blake gets out and can't be shown up! He had his own tricks up his sleeve. He leg go of the rope all together or would turn around. I might have mixed up what each person would actually do, but all of the kids got into it and it was so funny to see their competitive side and what they would come up with!
