Every year, we do an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Roper's house. Sadly, the past few years have been bad weather! I think we had to do the hunt inside last year because it was so cold and stormy! This year it was similar. It was chilly and rainy. We decided to go ahead with it anyway!
My Mom is great! She always tries to teach her grandchildren. She gave a little lesson about why we really celebrate Easter. My son participated for probably 2 minutes of the whole thing, but oh well! It is a start.
Then we headed outside!
We decided to brave the weather! It sprinkled on us the whole time we were outside, but I don't think any of the kids minded.
The younger kids got a 5 minute head-start.
It is so fun to see Jack participate in these holiday traditions. He is finally old enough to really understand what to do and get excited about it. Next year will be even more fun!
