Tucson

Mike was born in Tucson.  His parents lived there while his Dad was completing a medical residency.

I don't think Mike has been back since they lived there and so we drove down for the day.  Tucson is only a couple of hours away from Phoenix, so it is not a bad drive.

This is the hospital where Mike was born. 

Mike's parents told us about the airplane boneyard in Tucson. We were really intrigued and had to visit.  We couldn't believe how many planes were there! Miles and miles of old navy planes! It was so interesting! 

Sadly, we didn't make it in time to go to Old Tucson, so we will have to save that for the next trip.
