As a family, we had quite the week.
Mike's dear Grandfather, "Gramps", passed away on March 29th. He had been in poor health for so long and endured with such faith and courage. We were so sad to see him leave this life, but so excited for the happy reunion he is having in heaven. His viewing was Thursday, April 1st and then the funeral was Friday, April 2nd. The funeral was beautiful. Everything went so well. It was a time of remembrance and being circled about by family and loved ones. A special thanks to my Mom for helping us with Jack. She came to the funeral and watched Jack so that we could enjoy it and then took him home and napped him while we attended the luncheon. Thanks Mom!

(Thanks for the pics Jen.... I "borrowed" them from your blog)
Mike's oldest brother and his family came in town for the funeral and were able to stay for the weekend. We all had tickets to the Saturday afternoon session to hear Mike's youngest brother, Shawn, sing in the UVU Choir. Then the men in the family stayed downtown for the Priestood Session to hear our Uncle Ron, Elder Rasband speak. It was really nice to attend the sessions and to have some time without little ones. Once again, a special thanks to my Mom for watching Jack. She is amazing!
Jack got to share Easter morning with his cousins, Alyse and Gage. Jack still doesn't quite understand Easter and hunting for eggs, but it was fun to have other kids there to help show him what to do.
We were late for my family annual Easter Egg hunt and so we put a few eggs out for Jack to find.... with the help of cousins. The weather was yucky and so the hunt was inside this year.
I think we all crashed after the jam-packed, but great weekend. Though stressful at times, everything went well and was a huge success.
