Our little guy is 3!
Happy Birthday Jackers!
We had dinosaur shaped waffles for breakfast! Sadly, we just did eggos. Because of church, we didn't have time for a nice breakfast. Jack didn't care though, he LOVED that they were dinosaur shaped.
We got Jack dressed for church and once he saw that Daddy was wearing a tie, he decided that he had to have one as well. Not really fashion forward, but we figured, "why not! It is his birthday!"

After church, we got to work making his cake. I had done some research online and wanted to make a dinosaur cake for Jack. I was really nervous to make anything extravagant, because it usually becomes 10 times more work and stress than it is worth! I want to take a cake decorating class some day and learn how to decorate correctly.
Overall, I think it turned out pretty cute.
I had a little stress, but nothing too bad.
We went upstairs and celebrated with the family.
He may not look it in this picture, but he LOVED his cake. Mike took him upstairs while I made it because I wanted it to be a surprise. I snuck it upstairs and then we had him come in the room and it was sitting on the table. He got so excited and said, "Is that my dinosaur birthday cake?"
Daddy made everyone birthday hats!

Singing Happy Birthday.
Who doesn't love licking the candles?
Nothing but the best..... Rainbow Chip cake and frosting!
Mmmmmm.
Jack was so lucky and received so many nice gifts.
His favorite gift by far was from Nanny and Papa.
(Opening it....)
You can just see what he is thinking....
"What is it.... a dinosaur?"
ROBORAPTOR!!!! GENIUS!
Papa opening Roboraptor.

He was sooo excited and couldn't wait to play with Robo.

I love love love the cake!!! And you got some great pics, of his adorable reactions. And seriously Lincoln always does that on Sunday's, wants to dress just like dad. Jack is such a handsome boy, even if his tie doesn't quite go with the outfit, ha ha. ...miss you guys!
