Every summer, my Mom does a party for her grandsons and a party for her granddaughters.
This year, my Mom came up with the idea to have a Safari party. It was really fun and as usual, I took a million pictures!
She bought everyone a "safari shirt" and hat and had the boys all wear tan shorts.
She got them some safari gear, like binoculars, water bottles, compass, bug net, etc.
Even little Jared got a shirt! A special gorilla shirt! So cute!
Gearing up!
Jack decided to wear his hiccup hat as well. So funny!
Jack and Bryton found something really interesting in the grass. Wish I knew what it was.
It was sure cute though!
The explorers!
We went down to my Dad's greenhouse and he took us for a ranger ride out to the safari!
On the hunt
We went back to the greenhouse and Uncle Brett and Aunt Ashlee helped hide bugs and critters and the boys searched for them.
Lunch:
Jungle Juice
Skewered Snakes
Tropical Fruit
Jello infested bugs
and
Dirt for dessert
We ate lunch in the "jungle"
Everyone then got nerd dart guns and we hunted for the LION!
The little boys had a hard time with the guns and had to get a little close.
We finished the party off with piñatas!
Jared slept most of the time!
We were all tired by the end... can you tell?
Thanks Grandma! You are the best!
