Newborn Pictures

We never did newborn pictures with Jack and I regret it! To be honest, I never even thought of it with Jack! Duh! I looked around for a photographer and my soon to be sister-in-law told me about a friend who does photography.  I really liked her work and price, so we scheduled it! It is hard with newborn sessions though because you never know exactly when to schedule it! We originally scheduled to go on Friday, because I was supposed to have Jared a day earlier, but I decided I needed another day to get on my feet and so we switched to Saturday.

Not only did she do tons of newborn pictures, but she took pictures of Jack, and family pictures! (We would have picked better outfits if we knew she was going to do family pictures.  Looking into newborn shoots, it is recommended to wear dark and solid colors.  Jack doesn't have a black, solid shirt, so the red polo was the best we had! Oh well, we are still happy with the pictures.) 

I would highly recommend her! She was fabulous and really knows what she is doing.  She was so patient with our boys.  To top it off, she charged us less than what her website said a newborn shoot would cost and we got way more than a newborn shoot! 

Overall, we are sooo happy we did this! Isn't our little family cute?

I have to tell the story behind this picture.  If you know Jack, you know he "picks." Yuck, I know! I think every kid goes through this phase.  Anyway, he kept doing it while she was trying to take his picture and we all kept trying to get him to stop and he wouldn't, of course.  So, she started sticking her finger in her nose and was saying things like, "You are not the only one who can do that!"  It was so funny! He could pull his hand down and laugh and so she would keep doing it while taking pictures! Multi-tasking to the max!  As I said before, she was great, especially with kids!
