Ok, this is a little bit of bragging, but more so it is my excuse as to why I am soooo behind on my blog! I have been doing other things.
Every Summer, since 2007, my Mom throws a themed party for her grandsons and granddaughters. It has become a fun tradition and the kids excitedly await their party each Summer. On the flip side, it takes A LOT of time, work, energy, and money to put these together. I know, because I usually help her. The time, energy, etc is all worth it because of the special memories we create as a family.
So.... for the past six months, I have been working on a photo book of all of the parties to date. I had hoped to get it finished earlier, but I don't have a lot of free time on my hands lately. I FINALLY finished it and I am sooo happy with it. It has 97 pages and I thought I would share some of my favorites. I made sure to include pages from every party. I had it shipped to my Mom's house and I lucked out because I was on the phone with my Mom when the package came to her house.
She is worth the hours of work!

(Just so you know, if some of the pages seem like I didn't center something or I didn't extend an element all the way to the edge, etc, it is because these pages crop once you have them printed and so I get a little lazy and don't always extend elements past the trim line. Sorry!)

You are so GOOD at what you do Alyse! love how these pages turned out, and loved looking at the fun things your Mom put together. You are so great to put this together and I hope i get to see it in person some day! ...byt the way your mom should totally be featured on Martha Stewart with her party ideas for grandkids!
