We had a great Valentine's Day, on top of Daddy's birthday celebration.
Jack had a Valentine's party at school and was so excited to take his superhero sucker valentines. His teachers would not let the kids open their Valentine treats until they went home and so he was very excited and anxious to dive in.
Mike and I put together a little Valentine surprise for him as well. The Batman book was a hit!
The next day, we got a Valentine's package from Grandma and Grandpa Roper! We are so spoiled and lucky to have so many people who love us.
Jack was so excited opening it and was so impatient with my while I tried to get it open.
Inside was a leopard and dog web kin stuffed animal for the boys, a shirt for Jared, a Batman hat for Jack and treats for all of us! I will mention that I didn't share my special treat. I LOVE juju-be (is that correct?) gummy hearts. You have to be careful though, you can't just buy the cheap-o ones. The must be a certain brand. I know from past experience and threw them all away! My Mom send me a bag of them and I hid them and sadly they only lasted a few days! haha.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! We love you!
Jack loves his hat and wore it everywhere for the next week!
Jack always talks to the guy across the street and he told him about his Batman hat!
